What you will do

• Design, implement, and evolve scalable software services including system and API design.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical features across services or domains.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to align technical direction and standards.
• Improve reliability, performance, security, and observability of services through robust engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across teams.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve product outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience owning significant services or components in multi-service environments.
• Proficiency in backend or full-stack system design, API development, and data modeling.
• Experience with software engineering best practices including automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience supporting production services with monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom (London).
