TL;DR

Unity Software Engineer (Mobile Gaming): Develop and optimize mobile game features and tools in Unity for iOS and Android platforms with an accent on gameplay programming, performance optimization, and live operations support. Location: Jakarta, Indonesia with hybrid work model (3 days in office, 20 days remote per year)

What you will do

  • Implement gameplay features and develop new titles in Unity for mobile platforms.
  • Optimize code and memory usage for high performance on iOS and Android devices.
  • Design and maintain game architecture and write unit tests.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams in an Agile environment.
  • Support live operations and extend legacy projects.
  • Review code and mentor less experienced developers.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3+ years experience with Unity and C# programming.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong architectural, design pattern, and OOP knowledge.
  • Experience with Unity UI, gameplay programming, and source control (Git).
  • Ability to work with existing codebases and optimize performance using profiling tools.
  • Good mentoring and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile gaming live operations systems.
  • Knowledge of GLSL/HLSL and ShaderGraph.
  • Experience prototyping and extending large legacy projects.
