About This Role You own the complete user-facing experience. You deliver features end-to-end — from understanding user needs, to designing interaction patterns, to shipping high-performance and polished experiences, bridging the gap between agent capabilities and what users actually perceive.

You'll join a small, elite core team, working closely with the Founding Engineer and Software Engineers, reporting directly to the founders.

• Design and deliver the core experiences of how people interact with personal AI agents — e.g., conversation, feedback, personalization, and onboarding
• Solve complex UX challenges at the intersection of AI capabilities and user intent — making powerful agent behaviors feel simple and trustworthy
• Build and maintain the product's design system, ensuring consistency while adapting to increasingly complex agent workflows
• Drive product direction through prototyping and iteration — you define what to build and why
• Validate designs with data and user feedback, collaborating closely with the agent backend team

You May Be a Good Fit If You...

• Your daily workflow is 100% AI-driven — AI isn't an assistive tool, it's your default way of working
• 2–4 years of product design or product engineering experience, having delivered software products that users love — not prototypes, but products with real users
• Experience designing interactions for AI-native products — e.g., conversational UI, agent feedback loops, streaming output interfaces
• Proficient in modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Next.js, TypeScript) with experience handling streaming data and complex async state
• A portfolio demonstrating excellent design taste and product thinking
• Deep attention to craft quality — the difference between "it works" and "it feels right" matters to you
• Comfortable with ambiguity — when a problem is unclear, you make it concrete through prototyping rather than documentation

Annual Salary Range: SGD 140,000 — 200,000 Compensation includes base salary and AWS/13th month salary.

Other Information

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Chinese. Other languages are a plus.
• Location: This is a full-time, on-site position in Singapore.
• Visa Sponsorship: MiAO AI provides visa sponsorship and immigration legal support for qualified candidates.
• Relocation Support: We offer a one-time relocation allowance of SGD 5,000–10,000 plus one month of temporary housing for candidates relocating to Singapore.
