Staff IP Integration Engineer (Hardware)

TL;DR

Staff IP Integration Engineer (Hardware): Developing and optimizing library IP solutions, including standard cells, memories, and I/Os, for mixed-signal processing with an accent on characterization, design view generation, and automation. Focus on scripting for efficiency and coordinating the release of third-party IP within a highly collaborative environment.

Location: Hybrid role with offices in Austin, Texas and Edinburgh, Scotland. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. and the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

What you will do

• Develop IP characterization and design view generation.
• Create scripts for automation.
• Re-package and coordinate the release of third-party IP.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of industry experience (or Master's with 3+ years; or PhD).
• Extensive experience with spice simulations and Verilog modeling.
• Basic understanding of CMOS devices (including fabrication process) and VLSI/APR flow.
• Working experience in Perl or Python and shell scripting.
• Understanding of typical analog design flow and tools for schematic entry, simulation and layout.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience in mixed signal circuit layout.
• TCL and Skill coding.
• Familiarity with industry RTL compilers, place and route tools, DRC and LVS.
• Experience with standard cells and SRAM memory compilers.
