Senior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Lead large, complex infrastructure projects from research to delivery.
• Own EKS/EC2 lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, and cost optimization.
• Define CI/CD and GitOps standards using tools like TeamCity/Octopus and GitHub Actions.
• Standardize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Crossplane.
• Build and maintain platform tooling, environments, and scripts, enabling self-service.
• Partner with Platform Engineering, Security, and broader engineering groups on incident response and operations.
• Automate security and compliance workflows (SOC 2, PCI).
• Mentor engineers, document platform standards, and drive adoption across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a DevOps/Platform Engineering role with deep AWS expertise.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes/EKS operations, Terraform-first IaC, and CI/CD/GitOps experience.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments.
• Proficiency in Linux and solid Bash/Python scripting.
• Familiarity with Argo CD or Flux.
• Strong understanding of observability practices and tools like Prometheus, Datadog, or SumoLogic.
• Security/compliance knowledge (SOC 2, PCI), including compliant change controls and audit support.
• Proven collaborator and mentor, comfortable engaging stakeholders.
• English level: B2 (Upper-intermediate) or higher.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Windows/PowerShell and .NET for legacy workloads.
• Experience with messaging and data services such as Kafka/MSK and AWS SNS/SQS/Kinesis.
• Exposure to Postgres/MSSQL/MySQL databases.
