TL;DR

Head of Data Strategy: Leading the development and delivery of hirify.global’s data strategy and architecture to support digital transformation, establishing data governance, and enabling self-service analytics. Focus on driving cultural change toward data-driven decision making and overseeing the evolution of business intelligence capabilities.

Location: Hybrid role with home/office working in Matlock, UK.

Salary: £65,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead the development and delivery of hirify.global’s data strategy and architecture, ensuring seamless system and reporting platform integration.
• Establish data governance frameworks, set organisation-wide data standards, and oversee the evolution of business intelligence capabilities.
• Shape dashboards and reporting tools that drive better decision-making across the organisation.
• Drive cultural change by improving data capability and literacy, creating practical tools for non-technical users, and building directorate-level data champions.
• Lead the consolidation of analytical functions, streamline tools and processes, and shape the future structure of hirify.global’s analytics capability.
• Manage the Performance Improvement Manager and BI Developer, preparing the organisation for post-transformation needs.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading data transformation in complex, multi-site environments.
• Strong technical expertise across data architecture, governance, SQL, and Power BI.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas simply, influence senior stakeholders, and drive cultural change toward data-driven decision making.
• Track record of consolidating analytical functions and managing technology-enabled transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and demonstration of hirify.global’s HEART values.
• Work format: Hybrid with home/office working in Matlock, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with hospitality systems, particularly Mews, or wider system migration programmes.
• Understanding of charity sector reporting.
