What you will do
- Perform linguistic, textual, and functional testing of localized video game content.
- Identify, document, and report bugs using tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, DevTrack, etc.).
- Act as the main point of reference for your assigned language and maintain glossaries, style guides, and language standards.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, providing linguistic support and feedback.
- Assist in onboarding and training new hires.
- Support resource planning and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in one of the following languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, or Brazilian Portuguese.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LQA testing or localization QA.
- Proven experience mentoring or supporting other testers.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, DevTrack).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a Senior LQA Tester.
- Background in Localization, Linguistics, Translation, or Game Development.
- Experience with localization tools (memoQ, SDL Trados, Xbench).
- Experience in game, software, or app localization.
- Familiarity with automation tools for LQA.
