Location: Hybrid (Toronto, Canada). Must be in Toronto for at least 3 days a week in-office.

Salary: $75,000–$103,000

What you will do

• Act as primary technical contact for clients and partners, managing daily technical operations and application support.
• Monitor core systems in real-time and resolve software, hardware, or capacity issues.
• Support system operations, including startups, shutdowns, recoveries, scheduling, and batch processing (24/7 support, incident management).
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across clients, exchanges, and network providers.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade system hardware and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technology operations or system support.
• Strong ability to diagnose issues, execute recovery steps, and communicate clearly.
• Experience supporting secure, reliable production environments.
• Comfortable with Linux, networking fundamentals, scripting, and version control.

Nice to have

• Certifications related to system administration or operations.
• Experience with FIX connectivity, capital markets, or real-time trading environments.
• Familiarity with GitLab or Docker.
