What you will do

• Lead and hire engineers for cross-functional teams adopting modern tech (Node.js, React, AWS, Serverless, GraphQL).
• Provide guidance and support to engineers, fostering their professional development and career advancement.
• Identify and remove impediments, resolving larger organizational issues for the team.
• Evangelize the empowered-product team vision and promote the company's transformation into a technology-focused organization.
• Guide the team towards prioritizing automation, addressing technical debt, and phasing out legacy systems and processes.
• Maintain and enhance your technical skills through various means such as self-study, conferences, and code collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years as a software engineer and 3+ years in mentoring and managing teams.
• Experience with web & app development including design, development, and testing best practices.
• A talent for coaching and developing soft skills.
• A strong desire to help others grow and expand their knowledge.
• English: Flawless spoken and written English language skills (C1).
• Work format: Hybrid working, with office presence in The Hague, Netherlands required.
