What you will do

• Work with data models to understand how identity information is structured and used.
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and support fixes.
• Analyse data flows to understand gaps, risks, or inconsistencies.
• Use AI tools to help improve data quality and strengthen platform stability.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the Identity and wider Digital teams.

Requirements

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4–9 (C or above), including Maths, English, and Science, or SCQF Level 5.
• 2 A Levels at BB or above (or equivalent) in STEM subjects such as IT, Data, Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, or Physics.
• Must have a full UK Right to Work for the duration of the scheme.
• Not accepting any applications for those who are on a student/graduate visa, or who will need sponsorship during the scheme.

Nice to have

• Able to analyse data and spot patterns.
• Familiarity with AI tools or platforms
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to nontechnical audiences
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills
• Understanding of data integrity and why it matters
• Awareness of database systems and SQL basics
• Understanding of cloud platforms (or willingness to learn)
• A desire to learn, develop, and grow your skills
