Location: This position can be based in Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia, Spain, with in office-attendance expected in the Valencia office approximately 3 days per month. Extended remote work is an option for up to 120 days within the EU, UK, and Switzerland.

What you will do

• Ensure the productivity and resilience of infrastructure, including monitoring and observability of services.
• Work on standardizing processes and building automation for data pipeline onboarding, deployment, and failure recovery.
• Work closely with the SRE team to ensure developer productivity and CI/CD adoption.
• Craft and operate services, infrastructure, and tools for batch and streaming pipelines running on Kubernetes and GCP.
• Work hands-on as part of a closely knit team.
• Solution architect and deliver company-wide technical topics aligning with a multi-year roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience in development, administration, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated, large-scale systems running on Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Go and a practitioner of system design, architecture, and development best practices.
• Ability to break down challenges into modular, scalable solutions and bridge the gap between technology and business.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity to experiment and test changes.
• English: B2 required.
