TL;DR

Software Engineer, Ring (Embedded IoT Dev): Developing firmware for Ring's camera-centric IoT devices with an accent on device performance, battery life, and system latency. Focus on adding new features, integrating with hardware and software services, and managing a personal backlog.

Location: Cambridge, GBR. Fully remote within the UK or Europe

Requirements

Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
Experience in professional software development.
Experience programming with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
Experience in embedded development in C/C++.

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
