What you will do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing IAM security engineering team.
• Define and drive the IAM roadmap including identity governance, access management, PAM, and authentication solutions.
• Lead key IAM initiatives such as centralizing identity management, enhancing authentication security, and adopting zero trust principles.
• Implement and maintain robust security controls to protect organizational identities and critical data.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, legal, and compliance stakeholders to ensure successful IAM adoption.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve IAM security posture.

Requirements

• Location: Based in or able to work from Berlin, Germany with hybrid presence.
• Deep expertise in IAM frameworks and technologies including IGA, OIDC/SAML/FIDO2, and PAM.
• Proven leadership experience building and managing engineering teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex global IAM projects from inception to adoption.
• Up-to-date knowledge of identity threat landscape and mitigation strategies like Zero Trust and phishing-resistant MFA.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security architectures and cloud IAM concepts (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with industry standards and security frameworks.
• Experience in fast-paced growth environments.
