Quality Assurance Engineer Lead (Automation)

What you will do

• Formulate test strategy, design, and develop test cases based on various requirements documentation.
• Perform functional/non-functional manual test execution and execute automated test scripts.
• Log defects and track them to closure, taking ownership of QA activities on assigned projects.
• Maintain and update test cases and test plans in a timely manner, recording all test results and analysis.
• Prepare and set up the required test environment and test data based on project requirements.
• Potentially lead a small team of QA Engineers and communicate work progress to the Software QA Lead.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in an agile software development environment.
• Good testing and analytical skills with a passion for improving product quality.
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance in an agile environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work under pressure to deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloud-based software platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, RabbitMQ, MongoDb, Kubernetes, Microservices).
• Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, SoapUI).
• Experience with UI automation scripting (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Experience with Performance/Load testing (e.g., Jmeter).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, ALM).
• Experience with Mobile app testing (Android and iOS).
