TL;DR

System Support Specialist (AWS/Kubernetes): Operating and maintaining the cloud platform, including AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes environment with an accent on ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of systems. Focus on resolving incidents, monitoring operations, and supporting application deployments in a DevOps setting.

Location: Hybrid work model in České Budějovice, Czech Republic

What you will do

Operate and administer infrastructure, network elements, and servers in AWS.
Manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS EKS.
Support the development team in preparing and deploying applications to Kubernetes.
Ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
Ensure a high level of system security.
Monitor operations and analyze logs to resolve incidents.

Requirements

Experience with internet and networks, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and firewalls.
Advanced knowledge of Linux, specifically Debian.
Proficiency in programming and scripting, especially Bash.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including creating images for containers.
Knowledge of databases and SQL.
Fluent in Czech

Nice to have

Experience with AWS cloud and Kubernetes in AWS (EKS).
Experience with Ansible and automation.
Experience with PostgreSQL cluster operation and administration.
Familiarity with monitoring and metric collection using Prometheus.
Knowledge of IT security, including advanced Linux security, VPN, and WAF.
