What you will do

• Set the architecture vision in partnership with Product and Engineering leadership.
• Design Hexagate to monitor many blockchains fast and reliably, with sophisticated, flexible detection logic.
• Define boundaries, contracts, and patterns across ingestion, detection, response, and customer-facing workflows.
• Improve velocity, performance, and scale while keeping the platform easy to change.
• Inspire engineers, drive alignment through design reviews, and raise the bar.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and evolving distributed systems in production.
• Strong architecture judgment regarding trade-offs across correctness, latency, cost, and iteration speed.
• Ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions across product and engineering.
• Deep understanding of reliability and operability (SLOs, observability, incident learnings).
• A hands-on mindset and ability to dive into code when needed.

Nice to have

• Web3/blockchain experience or strong interest.
• Real-time / streaming data platforms experience.
• Security, fraud, risk, or other adversarial-domain experience.
