Data Analytics Engineer

TL;DR

Data Analytics Engineer: Identifying, investigating, and solving data issues (quality, discrepancies, missing data) and developing data solutions with an accent on optimizing data infrastructure using GCP tools (dbt, Airflow, Looker). Location: Fully remote from Ukraine

Salary: €3,800–€5,000/month (Gross)

What you will do

• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality and discrepancy issues.
• Contribute to developing and improving data solutions and infrastructure.
• Utilize GCP tools (dbt, Airflow, Looker) to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Develop prevention and alerting solutions for data issues.
• Refine best practices for naming conventions, data modeling, and data quality testing.
• Communicate data insights and progress with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of proven SQL skills, including complex data manipulation and debugging.
• Strong understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong communication skills to share information, progress, and findings effectively.
• Curious and growth-oriented mindset.
• Ability to understand, tackle, and communicate problems from both technical and business perspectives.
• English: C1+ required (fluent).

Nice to have

• Experience working with dbt.
• Experience with analytics tracking tools (e.g., Snowplow, GA4).
