Data Analytics Engineer (Spain)

TL;DR

Data Analytics Engineer: Enhancing data quality, efficiency, and timely data delivery using GCP tools (dbt, Airflow and Looker). Focus on strategic infrastructure roadmap development and working on prevention and alerting solutions.

Location: Remote, with the opportunity to work from the office in Barcelona, Spain.

Salary: 3800 – 5000 EUR/month.

What you will do

• Identify, investigate and solve data quality issues and discrepancies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data solutions, including optimizing data infrastructure.
• Employ GCP tools (dbt, Airflow and Looker) to enhance data quality and delivery.
• Work on prevention and alerting solutions.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist other team members in the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Have at least 4 years of proven SQL skills: ability to join and manipulate data of various types, write parameterized scripts, debug SQL code
• Experience with analytics tracking tools (e.g., Snowplow, GA4) is a strong plus
• Know ETL and warehousing concepts
• Have strong communication skills: timely, clear, and consistent sharing of information
• Be capable to understand, tackle, and communicate problems from both technical and business perspectives
• Be fluent in English
