What you will do
- Serve as technical and program liaison for external customers and the organization.
- Lead complex projects and provide enterprise-level visibility for operational objectives.
- Advise senior management, provide risk mitigation, and resolve issues.
- Develop engineering program plans, schedules, and allocate project staff.
- Manage project milestones and coordinate with multiple functions for completion.
- Control expenditures within project budget and manage change requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 8 years’ work experience in program management.
- Knowledge of avionics certification process for the FAA and other certification authorities.
- Broad knowledge in avionics systems and safety critical applications with team leadership capabilities.
- Working knowledge of cost and schedule performance analysis and reporting.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to travel both domestically and internationally.
Nice to have
- Experience with the system development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards like DO-254, DO-160, DO-178B/C, ARP-4754 and ARP-4761.
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD), understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DFAR.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
