What you will do
- Deliver specific components and tasks within projects.
- Engage with customers, suppliers, and subject matter experts.
- Lead the creation of high-level designs and architectures for platforms, including on-prem, cloud, or hybrid solutions.
- Design, develop, and test solutions, covering system specification, technology choice, data models, implementation, configuration, and development.
- Ensure that created solutions meet security requirements.
- Provide third-line support for deployed cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
- Work onsite 5 days a week in Ipswich.
- Obtain DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance.
- Have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
- Possess in-depth technical knowledge of the Linux Operating System.
- Understand and have experience with Infrastructure-as-code, Configuration Management, and automation tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
- Understand network architecture, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VLANs.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of big data architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud and hybrid data processing architectures.
- Skills in scripting and the Python programming language.
- Experience working and leading tasks using a DevOps methodology.
