Senior Director, Patient Engagement Operations (Biotech): Leading the strategic design and operational build of a scalable, patient-centred engagement model to support commercialization of novel mental health therapies with an accent on reducing barriers to care, accelerating patient access, and optimizing real-world outcomes. Focus on architecting patient services infrastructure, vendor governance, and integrating patient insights into decision-making.
Location: Hybrid in our New York City office or remote on the east coast in the United States. Approximately 20-30% travel. Must have employment rights in the United States.
Salary: $220,000 - $270,000 USD annually.

What you will do
- Design and implement a patient engagement operating model aligned with commercial, medical, and access strategies.
- Lead development of patient support programs (e.g., onboarding, affordability, adherence support).
- Identify and operationalize solutions to reduce barriers to care, reimbursement, and treatment initiation.
- Oversee vendor selection, contracting, performance management, and governance for support services.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to measure patient experience and program effectiveness.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of compassion and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in patient engagement or operations within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience in mental health or neuroscience is highly preferred.
- Strategic systems thinker with demonstrated experience supporting launch of specialty or novel therapies.
- Background in REMS, hub operations, specialty pharmacy, patient services program operations, and compliance governance.
- Must have employment rights in the United States.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD or equivalent).
- Experience integrating digital engagement tools and real-world data into patient programs.
