AI & Data Engineering Intern (AI): Supporting the development and improvement of data pipelines and AI-enabled tools and workflows for hirify.global's data and content team with an accent on data quality, performance, and automation efforts. Focus on working with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to refine data workflows and enhance internal data tools and systems.

Location: Remote, open to various locations in the Eastern and Central Time Zones in the US

Salary: $28/hour for undergraduate students, $30/hour for graduate students

What you will do

• Support the development and improvement of data pipelines and automated processes.
• Assist in building and testing AI‑enabled tools and workflows.
• Help enhance internal data tools and systems.
• Contribute to data quality, performance, and automation efforts.
• Review and maintain data quality across systems and refine data workflows.
• Support documentation and simple reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field of study with a graduation date of May 2027.
• Demonstrate understanding of AI and data engineering concepts.
• Display familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot.
• Possess proficiency in Python and agile development practices.
• Have experience with data processing, analysis, and familiarity with big data tools and cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
• Possess effective communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
