Finance/Reporting Specialist (Edtech)

TL;DR
Mid-level Finance/Reporting Specialist (Edtech): Focused on financial reporting and data quality, supporting monthly consolidated financial reports including P&L, BS, and CF management accounts. Focus on reviewing and analyzing primary financial data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and contributing to ERP system improvements.
Location: Hybrid work in Belgrade, Serbia (2 days in-office, 3 days remote). Remote work is possible from locations without offices.

What you will do
- Support the delivery of monthly consolidated financial reports including P&L, BS, and CF management accounts.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
- Review and analyze primary financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform account and variance analysis to support management understanding of financial results.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles, primarily from a reporting and data-validation perspective.
- Contribute to ERP system usage and improvements across businesses and locations and handle ad-hoc reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, consolidation, or audit.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting or BI tools.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy.
Nice to have
- Big 4 experience.
- Experience with Power Query.
- Experience with Acumatica ERP.
- Experience with Power BI.
