What you will do

• Build and optimize data pipelines and architectures.
• Work primarily within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
• Leverage tools such as BigQuery, DBT, Apache Kafka, and SQL.
• Ensure a high degree of automation for tests and deployments.
• Maintain and operate systems 24/7 using SRE principles.
• Follow LBG's agile practices and governance processes.

Requirements

• Technically minded and skilled with large datasets, with experience developing a project from inception to production.
• Proficient in SQL querying to write sophisticated and efficient queries.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain models, pipelines, and transformations with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, DBT, Cloud Storage, Apache Kafka Connect).
• Proficiency in languages such as bash, Python, Terraform, and Java.
• Experience with source control tools like git and github.
• Experience in building automated regression tests, coordinated with CI/CD (e.g., Cucumber).
• Solid understanding of architecture/systems thinking with cloud-native principles.
