Head of Database Administration: Leading and scaling a DBA team, overseeing stability, scalability, and performance across a diverse database ecosystem with an accent on database reliability and efficiency for high-load systems. Location: Valencia, Venezuela. Relocation support to Venezuela is provided.

Salary: €8,000/month net

What you will do

• Lead and manage a growing DBA team.
• Oversee performance, availability, backup, and disaster recovery for more than 100 database servers.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, solution architects, and data analysts.
• Drive adoption of modern practices for database management, migrations, automation, and process standardization.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies and solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale, high-availability database infrastructures.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience working across cloud, on-premises, and containerized environments (Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
