What you will do

• Work on a project with the support and mentorship of an Applied Scientist.
• Develop graph analysis models to identify key actors and their communications.
• Build reinforcement learning models powered by attorney feedback.
• Create new search technology to enable investigators to find data efficiently.
• Solve the needs of the broad investigative and justice community using AI technologies.

Requirements

• Masters or Doctorate level student in a quantitative discipline.
• Fluency in Python.
• Analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of statistics and Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with consumer-grade Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot).
• Good command of English for communication and collaboration in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Interest in the legal industry and global justice systems.
