 A large international IT company in the social discovery space is hiring a Senior Android Developer for one of its investment products. The team is fully remote and distributed worldwide.

 Responsibilities:

•  Develop new features and improve existing functionality
•  Implement components and services
•  Ensure high-quality, high-performance delivery

 
 Requirements:
 
 Must-have:

•  Strong expertise in Kotlin, coroutines, and Flow
•  Experience building high-performance UI with Jetpack Compose (custom layouts, complex animations, shaders, real-time updates)
•  Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and networking architecture (including WebSockets/streaming)
•  Performance and memory profiling experience (jank, overdraw, allocations)
•  Ability to deliver smooth UI iterations and polished animations
•  Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, traces)

 
 Nice-to-have:

•  OpenGL / AGSL / GPU pipelines
•  CI/CD and modular architecture
•  Benchmarking and performance regression testing
•  Experience with multimedia (audio/video/voice synchronization)
