What you will do

• Develop and maintain automation tooling, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines for backbone network services.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for network and service configurations.
• Work closely with network and data center engineers to implement complex changes.
• Lead resolution of complex automation initiatives in large-scale network environments.
• Build and maintain a Common Data Store using ETL.
• Create reporting solutions based on network data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network automation within a telecommunications environment.
• Strong experience building Python-based automation frameworks (not only scripting).
• Solid experience with REST APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of IP, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP.
• Strong understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models.
• Experience applying CI/CD and Git to network configuration changes.
• Strong UNIX/Linux administration skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. StableNet, Cognos).
• Experience with ETL and working with data stores is a plus.
