Senior Network Automation Engineer (Telecom)

Senior Network Automation Engineer (Telecom): Develop and maintain automation tooling, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines for backbone network services with an accent on designing and implementing automation frameworks for network and service configurations. Focus on leading resolution of complex automation initiatives in large-scale network environments, building and maintaining a Common Data Store using ETL, and creating reporting solutions based on network data.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain automation tooling, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines for backbone network services.
- Design and implement automation frameworks for network and service configurations.
- Work closely with network and data center engineers to implement complex changes.
- Lead resolution of complex automation initiatives in large-scale network environments.
- Build and maintain a Common Data Store using ETL.
- Create reporting solutions based on network data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network automation within a telecommunications environment.
- Strong experience building Python-based automation frameworks (not only scripting).
- Solid experience with REST APIs.
- Advanced knowledge of IP, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP.
- Strong understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models.
- Experience applying CI/CD and Git to network configuration changes.
- Strong UNIX/Linux administration skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Nice to have
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. StableNet, Cognos).
- Experience with ETL and working with data stores is a plus.
