Data Engineer (Medtech)

TL;DR

Data Engineer (Medtech): Identifying and solving data quality issues, optimizing data infrastructure, and developing data solutions using GCP tools with an accent on enhancing data quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of accurate data. Focus on robust data modeling, ETL processes, and cross-functional communication to support data warehousing and analytics solutions.

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius (4 days onsite, 1 flexible remote) or onsite/hybrid/remote options available in Kaunas, Klaipėda (Lithuania) and Riga (Latvia). You also have the benefit of working 2 months per year from anywhere in the world.

Salary: €3,800–€5,000 gross/month

What you will do

• Identify, investigate, and solve data quality and discrepancy issues.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of data solutions and infrastructure using GCP tools (dbt, Airflow, Looker).
• Implement prevention, alerting, and best practices for data modeling and quality testing.
• Communicate data-related findings and progress with cross-functional and non-technical teams.
• Assist in designing and implementing data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Take ownership of tasks and initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of proven SQL skills, including data manipulation and script debugging.
• Experience with ETL and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong communication skills for timely, clear, and consistent information sharing.
• Ability to understand, tackle, and communicate problems from both technical and business perspectives.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working with dbt.
• Experience with analytics tracking tools (e.g., Snowplow, GA4).
