What you will do
- Collaborate closely with Assessment and Operations and digital assessment teams.
- Manage the well-being, support, performance, development, and day-to-day line management of a team of Team Leaders and Analysts providing specialized Tier 2 support.
- Represent Assessment and Operations teams on the digital assessment project, ensuring operational impact is considered.
- Manage and resolve issues impacting operational workflow/procedures, identifying mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Coordinate the integration of digital assessment workstreams into existing operations, maintaining business continuity.
- Manage the successful implementation of digital assessment standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify process improvements.
- Provision training for internal colleagues and collaborate with Communications and Customer Service teams to ensure schools have up-to-date information.
Requirements
- Experience of managing a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and build strong relationships at all levels.
- The ability to work independently under pressure, responding effectively to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Clear understanding of digital assessment operational best practice.
- A degree level qualification (or equivalent experience).
- A problem-solving mindset, with experience investigating system, process, or service issues.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to identify needs, gather requirements, and translate them into action.
- Location: Hybrid, requiring 1 day per week in the Cardiff office, United Kingdom.
- Occasional weekend working is essential, in April, May, October and November.
- Ability to work flexhirify.globally across time zones to meet business needs.
- Provision of on-call support (outside normal working hours) will be required during examination weeks.
