TL;DR

TV Development & Current Series Intern (Animation): Shadowing executives and gaining exposure to TV animation development and current processes with an accent on creative input on content, script reading, design review, and episode screenings. Focus on researching books/writers/artists, building pitch decks, and creating a final presentation for executives.

Location: Hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, increasing to four days from January 5, 2026. Must be willing to work in Glendale, California and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Candidates are responsible for their own relocation, housing, and transportation.

Salary: $17.87 hourly

What you will do

  • Shadow high-level executives and provide creative input on content for Development and Production.
  • Gain exposure to script reading, design review, and attending work-in-progress episode screenings.
  • Research books, writers, and artists to support content development.
  • Build pitch decks and source assets for department presentations.
  • Submit writers and pitches into the department's databases.
  • Create and present a final presentation on an approved theme to executives.

Requirements

  • Experience with Photoshop and internet market research.
  • Interest in programming for all demographics.
  • Ability to transcribe recordings of meetings.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Pursuing or recently graduated (within six months) from an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree program.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to work in Glendale, California.
  • Ability to provide own relocation, housing, and transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Curiosity about animation.
  • Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and video editing software.
  • Current class standing of Junior or above.
