CAD Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software for the RTL Quality Flow to automate vendor tool launching.
• Support CAD tools and methodology flows for digital and mixed-signal verification.
• Assist in the automation of digital design and verification methodologies.
• Collaborate with EDA providers to improve RTL design flow through bug fixes and enhancements.
• Drive consensus on tool and design methodology across business units.
• Verify CAD flows for correct results and work with design teams to determine signoff criteria.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering plus five years of relevant experience OR Bachelor of Science plus seven years OR PhD plus three years.
• Three years of experience with in-tool automation of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software via API language (e.g., SKILL, Lisp, TCL).
• Three years of experience building EDA automation flows for linking.
• 3+ years of experience with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Real Intent) to design custom flows and enable new tool features.
• 3+ years of experience using software skills to synthesize tool behaviors and feedback into user-readable documentation.
