Principal Designer (Parking)

TL;DR

Principal Designer (Parking): Elevating user experience and design impact across a complex product portfolio within urban mobility, with an accent on maximizing quality across apps, web, wearables, automotive, and hardware ecosystems. Focus on driving ambiguous and strategically important projects, shaping long-term product direction, and ensuring consistency and quality while mentoring junior designers.

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office per week, 2 from home. Can be based in Stockholm, Amsterdam, London, Łódź, Barcelona or Atlanta.

What you will do

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to elevate design execution and impact across the product offering.
• Drive and support ambitious, ambiguous, and strategically important design projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact across teams.
• Shape the longer-term direction for the product suite, defining visual directionality and strategic momentum.
• Uncover and capitalize on new, undiscovered opportunities within the product portfolio.
• Ensure a high bar of quality and consistency across products and support junior and senior designers in craft development and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in design, with an emphasis on product design work in cross-functional contexts.
• Demonstrated experience working with ambiguous challenges and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading high-stakes product design work, including early-stage discovery phases.
• World-class craftsmanship, including rapid, high-fidelity prototyping.
• 2+ years of experience in people management, mentoring, or coaching.
