TL;DR

Product Owner (VOD): Developing and evolving hirify.global’s VoD digital products, specifically the U app, with an accent on driving the evolution of the U app, delivering features against the roadmap, and managing the product backlog. Focus on understanding customer needs, balancing UI/X principles, and collaborating with agile scrum teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

What you will do

  • Take full end-to-end Product Ownership for the U app across one of our platforms.
  • Define product features and ensure delivery against end-user needs and business objectives.
  • Own and refine the product backlog, breaking down complex requirements into user stories.
  • Act as the day-to-day Product Owner for Scrum teams, providing clarity, direction, and fast decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, and UI/X teams, participating in UAT and sign-off.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate regular feedback loops to ensure solutions meet user needs.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Proven experience delivering digital product features to market.
  • Experience working in agile environments with scrum teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery and Scrum product lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and flow mapping tools.
  • An obsession with understanding customers’ needs and pain points.

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering to web platforms with mobile and CTV delivery.
  • Knowledge of AVOD and SVOD services.
