What you will do

• Create database objects and write stored procedures.
• Analyze and optimize slow SQL queries (joins, subqueries, etc.).
• Work with execution plans, indexes, statistics, and partitioning to enhance performance.
• Understand and analyze business requirements effectively.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient SQL and schema use.
• Propose structural, architectural, and performance-oriented improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server as a SQL Developer.
• Demonstrated practical experience in SQL query optimization.
• Strong skills in analyzing execution plans, designing indexing strategies, and tuning performance.
• Ability to write clean code in accordance with technical requirements.
• Solid knowledge of OLTP database design principles and best practices.
• Ability to present real examples of performance improvements or schema redesigns.
