What you will do

• Conduct financial analysis and build financial models and plans based on past data and well-researched assumptions.
• Create reports and extract needed information from various systems, preferring automation over manual entry.
• Identify and fix broken processes or messy data with an ownership mindset.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for both the CFO and non-financial stakeholders.
• Manage financial planning and analysis, cost controlling, and budgeting activities.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced finance environment, preferably within SaaS/Tech or high-growth businesses.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, cost controlling, and budgeting.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Educational background (bachelor or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Hybrid work in Klagenfurt or Vienna, Austria.

Nice to have

• Understanding of SaaS / Scale-up economics.
• Experience in working with Netsuite.
• Some experience in working with databases / SQL / simple coding (e.g., Google BigQuery).
• Experience with R&D public grants (e.g., Austrian “Research premium” / “Forschungsprämie”).
• German language skills are a plus.
