Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Leading and scaling AI initiatives across the company, establishing a Center of Excellence and promoting AI integration into products and services with an accent on enhancing business outcomes and accelerated growth. Focus on developing and executing a comprehensive AI strategy, exploring and implementing new AI technologies including Generative AI and MLOps, and designing advanced machine learning models for real-time, low-latency applications.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with company goals, driving innovation and optimizing technology operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI and MLOps, to inform strategic development.
• Establish and scale a high-performing AI team, providing leadership, mentoring, and fostering a diverse, inclusive culture.
• Design and deploy a framework and platform to standardize AI and Machine Learning utilization across the company.
• Design and develop advanced machine learning models and responsible AI solutions for real-time, low-latency applications.
• Continuously monitor and optimize AI models to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the AI field, with significant leadership experience in a high-growth AI environment.
• Proven ability to manage and scale AI teams and develop cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for complex production environments with real-time requirements.
• Proficiency in AI technologies, event-driven and real-time data analytics, machine learning algorithms, MLOps, online feature stores, Generative AI Cloud Frameworks, and Prompt/Agent Engineering.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, capable of inspiring teams and translating complex AI concepts into business strategies.
• Must be based in our Malta Headquarters.
