What you will do

• Define, block, and build game levels, ensuring high visual quality while maintaining engaging gameplay.
• Collaborate with visual, design, and coding teams to create fun maps and integrate new features.
• Take full ownership of levels from paper design through whitebox, scripting, iteration, debugging, and optimization to final delivery.
• Participate in dedicated established Strike Teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional level design experience, including working on a shipped AAA title.
• Experience in level design practice and theory (landmarks, routes, lines of sight, combat arenas).
• Knowledge of Maya, 3DS Max, or similar 3D software.
• Familiarity with visual scripting and bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
• General understanding of game development processes and ability to implement feedback.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be based in Canada and have experience in the game industry.

Nice to have

• Experience with different video game engines.
• Passion for playing and making melee-focused videogames.
