What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Drive the distributed infrastructure design for the Application Modernisation Platform, supporting a self-service SaaS product model in client-controlled environments.
• Lead the design and implementation of a sophisticated orchestration layer for authentication, telemetry, and modernization tool lifecycle management.
• Architect a client-side application to manage developer workflows and secure communication with hosted services.
• Solve complex Day 2 operations challenges, including designing interfaces for user, secrets, and update management.
• Collaborate with security and product teams to ensure secure execution of code generation and LLM-based tasks, protecting both client data and hirify.global IP.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development and operations experience, focusing on platforms and distributable software infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Deep experience designing distributable applications for air-gapped or highly restricted network environments.
• Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration, designing systems for secure execution of containerized applications.
• Experience building Service Host architectures with shared routing, proxy layers, and API gateways.
• Experience managing persistent storage solutions within distributed systems.
• Understanding of security-first design, untrusted code execution, fine-grain access control, and rigorous input validation.
• Experience designing auto-update mechanisms for offline software.
