Company Description Diaspora AI is a travel platform built for the global diaspora community. We help diaspora communities book flights home, manage visas, find accommodations, and navigate cross-border travel all in one place. We're a fast-growing startup headquartered in Plymouth, UK, with users spanning Africa, Europe, North America, and beyond. We're on a mission to make travel seamless for the people who need it most.
Role Description We are seeking a talented, passionate Freelance UI/UX Designer to lead the full visual rebrand of our Travel Hub. This is a remote, one-off contract role with a clear scope and a straightforward deliverable: take what exists and make it world-class. You'll work directly with the founder, move fast, and have full creative ownership over the outcome. What You'll Be Delivering You will be responsible for the following deliverables by the agreed deadline: A comprehensive Diaspora AI Brand Identity Document covering colour palette, typography, logo usage guidelines, and tone of voice Full visual rebrand of the Diaspora AI Travel Hub, including the landing page, search results, flight and hotel booking flow, and user dashboard Identification and resolution of confusing or broken user flows within the Travel Hub Interested in remote work opportunities in Graphic Design & Art? All final designs delivered as fully editable source files in your preferred design tool (Figma, Framer, Penpot, or equivalent) A complete developer handoff package, including exported assets and design specifications
Existing designs will be provided for reference and context. The expectation is a complete rebrand, not minor modifications.
What We're Looking For — A strong, demonstrable portfolio — ideally featuring travel platforms, fintech products, or consumer-facing applications — A designer who understands how to create for diverse, global, and multicultural audiences — Clean, modern aesthetic with an eye for detail and premium feel — Solid understanding of UX principles, user flows, and responsive design — Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, and deliver on time Browse our curated collection of remote jobs across all categories and industries, featuring positions from top companies worldwide. — Experience designing for diaspora, African, or multicultural communities is a significant advantage, but not a requirement
What We're Not Looking For — Generic template-based designs — Designers who need extensive handholding — Anyone who can't show previous work
Engagement Details — Type: Freelance Contract (one-off project) — Location: Remote, work from anywhere — Timeline: To be agreed upon signing — Payment: 50% deposit upfront, 50% on final delivery
