Location: Based in Japan, specifically Tokyo. The role supports programs across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

What you will do

  • Drive strategy and execution of volunteer programming across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
  • Localize global initiatives to fit local cultural contexts while meeting strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain high-impact relationships with nonprofit organizations and educational institutions in Japan.
  • Partner with internal teams (Equality Groups, HR, Marketing) to integrate philanthropy.
  • Establish hub-based goals, manage dashboards, and elevate data capture for impact reporting.
  • Manage employee giving/grant programs and drive awareness and adoption across the JPKT OU.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-3+ years in employee engagement or community involvement initiatives.
  • Deep familiarity with the nonprofit or education sectors in Japan.
  • Japanese: Native or near-native fluency (written and verbal) required.
  • English: Professional fluency (written and verbal) required.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with high attention to detail.
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can balance competing priorities.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Korean or Mandarin (Taiwanese).
  • Experience with hirify.global Platform/technology, AI, and Google Workspace.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
