Compensation: $194,000–$311,000 USD (based on geographic tier).

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers while fostering a collaborative environment with Product Managers and Designers.
  • Drive the team's delivery of high-quality, impactful software solutions.
  • Ensure technical excellence and project goals are met by taking charge of the team's overall performance.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to define and influence engineering strategy.
  • Manage individual team members' development plans and performance growth.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach, balancing technical contributions with effective people management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant expertise in building data, ML, or backend systems.
  • 2+ years of engineering management experience in a high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of owning projects from scoping through deployment in ambiguous, high-stakes settings.
  • Hands-on experience building and productizing data platforms.
  • Proficiency working with GCP.
