TL;DR

Principal Kubernetes Platform Engineer (DevOps): Manage and secure multi-cloud Kubernetes platforms across Azure Government, AWS, and Google Cloud with an accent on platform reliability, security, and compliance under FedRAMP High and DoD standards. Focus on designing scalable architectures, automating operations with GitOps and IaC, and ensuring audit readiness in a high-security environment.

What you will do

  • Administer and architect Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers including Azure Government, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Design and operate secure, highly available Kubernetes platform architectures with disaster recovery and upgrade safety.
  • Implement and enforce cluster security standards including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and compliance controls.
  • Develop and maintain GitOps/CI/CD pipelines for reliable Kubernetes deployments and auditability.
  • Lead observability efforts with logging, metrics, alerting, and incident response to ensure platform uptime and performance.
  • Support compliance with FedRAMP High requirements and conduct regular audits and remediation activities.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the United States with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • 7+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering with 4+ years hands-on Kubernetes administration in production.
  • Expertise in multi-cloud Kubernetes operations (AKS, EKS, GKE) and deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals and security hardening.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go).
  • Experience with observability tooling, incident response, and compliance-driven environments (FedRAMP/DoD).
  • Relevant certifications preferred: CKA/CKS, Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, Security+, CISSP.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure Government cloud environments.
