Senior Technical Product Manager

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in USA - Riverwoods, IL. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office as part of the recruitment process.

Compensation: $94,200–$164,450 USD

What you will do

• Proactively understand the product vision, priorities, and success criteria for your portfolio.
• Build and articulate a clear product roadmap, prioritizing work with engineering teams.
• Gather functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders and translate them into features and user stories.
• Represent the voice of customers and stakeholders to development teams throughout the solution development process.
• Plan for upcoming quarters, ensuring timely delivery of technical features and stories.
• Define, measure, and report on product progress and usage to evaluate effectiveness and solve the right problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a similar program.
• 7-8 years of total experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• 4-5 years of experience as an independent Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Deep customer empathy and ability to understand end-to-end scenarios.
• Experience driving all aspects of the SDLC with development teams (backlog grooming, story mapping, user story creation).
• Visio (or similar tool) expertise required to create systems or other simple logical drawings and mapped workflows.

Nice to have

• SAFe – PMPO, CSPO, or PSPO certification.
• Knowledge of Tax and accounting.
• Knowledge of Audit systems.
