Motion Designer

TL;DR

Motion Designer: Designing, animating, and editing digital and social motion graphics for brand social channels with an accent on visual storytelling and social engagement. Focus on creating original graphics and integrating animated elements into videos while adhering to style guidelines and elevating them to new trends.

Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week from our Dumbo office preferred

Salary: $70,000-$90,000

What you will do

• Create short animations for digital platforms using original graphics and existing footage.
• Design digital photo treatments and graphic layouts.
• Integrate animated elements and type into videos.
• Collaborate with a dynamic creative team to bring designs to life.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of design/motion graphics experience.
• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere).
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and in an organized fashion.
• Strong eye for layout, typography, and current design trends.
• Experience designing for all social media platforms.
• Ability to concept design elements and execute, while clearly and strategically articulating design decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cinema 4D.
• Experience with Canva.
• Print experience.
• Web layout experience.
