What you will do

  • Shape and evolve the enterprise transformation roadmap, aligning it with strategic priorities and capacity.
  • Lead the Transformation Office team, ensuring initiatives are well-defined, resourced, and governed.
  • Design and operate enterprise-level governance for strategic decisions regarding transformation progress.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure initiatives are underpinned by robust economic logic and accountability.
  • Manage risks, interdependencies, and capacity conflicts, supporting timely decision-making.
  • Track the realization of OKRs, outcomes, and strategic benefits, driving corrective action where required.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading enterprise-wide transformation or portfolio governance within complex organizations with transformation budgets of £100m+.
  • Exceptional strategic judgment, with the ability to translate ambition into structured plans and prioritized portfolios.
  • Deep expertise in transformation methodologies, portfolio management, and value-driven delivery disciplines.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience working closely with Finance on business cases and benefit realization.
  • Highly skilled communicator, able to simplify complex themes and influence confidently at the CEO/GEC level.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and operate in environments of ambiguity and pace.
