Automation Software Engineer

TL;DR

Automation Software Engineer (PLC & HMI): Developing programs for PLCs and HMIs of hirify.global conveying equipment and lines with an accent on automation integration of hirify.global and Third-party equipment’s and proper implementation of conveyor and line automation control. Focus on ensuring proper automation control and that the conveyor/machine interfaces are correctly defined and implemented in the program.

What you will do

• Develop programs for PLCs and HMIs of hirify.global conveyor equipment and lines.
• Participate in project technical review meetings with the project team.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of conveyor electrical cabinets before shipment.
• Ensure the information necessary to finalize the programming is clearly defined.
• Ensure proper automation control of hirify.global and Third-party equipment.
• Provide technical support to field engineers during commissioning.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or University degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering.
• Mastery of automation and industrial communication networks.
• Good electrical knowledge.
• Knowledge of PLCs & HMIs software from the main suppliers (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of frequency inverter range from the main suppliers (SEW, Danfoss).
• Programming experience with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Flexible or Unified, software.
• Fluent Portuguese & English.
• Availability for short term business trip within Europe.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Rockwell PLC and HMI software.
• Knowledge of conveying system and associated concepts.
• Other languages as French or Spanish.
• Basic knowledge of the CE Norms and Regulations.
