What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain new platform features in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Deliver clean, reliable code through bug fixes, testing, and peer reviews, owning codebase quality.
• Architect and refine scalable backend solutions for the healthcare cloud platform.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that increase product versatility and client value.
• Potentially integrate ML- and AI-driven solutions into the product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs (preference for FastAPI / Pydantic).
• Hands-on expertise with deploying applications to AWS.
• Experience with third-party API and service integrations, including rate limiting and error handling.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging tools, and infrastructure management (e.g., Terraform).
• Fluency in English for effective collaboration in a distributed, global team.
• Must be comfortable working autonomously, driving projects, and taking ownership of outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Machine Learning / AI models into back-end systems.
• Knowledge of the Insurance domain.
