Sales Engineer (Utilities SaaS): Deliver technical expertise and solution design to support sales of enterprise software for utility customers with an accent on utility operations, integration with utility systems, and regulatory compliance. Focus on designing tailored solution architectures, conducting technical discovery, and providing product demonstrations to utility audiences.

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom only

What you will do

Support sales team with technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and solution design.
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer workflows and challenges.
Deliver tailored product demonstrations and develop proof-of-concept solutions for utility customers.
Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and technical compliance documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams.
Represent the company at industry events and stay informed on utility industry trends.

Requirements

Must be located in the United Kingdom or able to work remotely within the UK.
Experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, or utility operations with customer-facing roles.
Familiarity with utility systems such as GIS, SCADA, CIS, ERP, and EAM.
Strong communication and presentation skills for technical demonstrations.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

Experience working directly with electric, gas, or water utilities.
Knowledge of utility regulatory environments and public-sector RFPs.
Understanding of integrations, APIs, and data architecture.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
