What you will do

• Copyedit marketing and educational materials in accordance with AMA style, brand style guides, and SOPs.
• Correct errors in spelling, punctuation, trademark, and formatting, consolidating annotations.
• Ensure the implementation of changes and that no additional changes/errors are introduced.
• Create and manage Editorial style guides.
• For print material, confirm approval for distribution, ensure layout matches the approved version, and verify all changes are carried through.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and proofread to ensure compliance with approved copy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in proofreading pharmaceutical promotional and disease education material.
• Must have strong written and oral English communication/presentation skills.
• Must be proficient in editing documents with US or UK English requirements.
• Must be familiar with various style guides, including the AMA Manual of Style/Chicago Manual of Style.
• Must have a good understanding of scientific/medical terminologies and jargons.
